The Story of the Sacred Garden

Sacred Garden

The story of the Sacred Garden began in 1996 when Divineva, our Divine Deva in rose quartz, arrived from Brazil. She weighs 644 kilos and represents my commitment to Earth Healing, not only in Scotland but everywhere.  Crystals work wonderfully with leylines and the energy lines which connect stone circles, sacred sites, mountains and flow around the Earth. Of course she works multi-dimensionally as well, receiving and radiating out Unconditional Love and Self Love for all.

Story of the Sacred Garden

The work on the Sacred Garden Project started in the summer of 1996. I was given the guidance to call in a crystal to help with harmonising the land energies in the North East of Scotland. Divineva, a 644 kilo rose quartz crystal was found in Brazil by a friend of mine called Phil. He was working out there and I was connecting in meditation with a crystalline being and emailing the guidance. I had no idea which kind of crystal being was joining us. Phil found her in a wholesalers and excitedly phoned to say he thought he’d found her and she was rose quartz! She was shipped back to Scotland for our Summer Solstice Celebrations and the proceeds from our workshop paid for the shipping.

Divineva was placed in the centre of a crystal mandala, called our Mother Mandala, with 6 large Brazilian crystals creating the other points. Merlin was one of the Ascended masters giving us guidance at this time. Christopher Sell, who is another spiritual teacher, and I were called to do a Star Consciousness workshop on the Summer Solstice, connecting up another ancient devic realm sacred site – Paradise Woods and East Aquorthies stone circle.

The devic realm in my garden began communicating the need to re-introduce water in ponds at the bottom of the garden. Along with some volunteers, we dug out ponds; always following guidance through intuition and dowsing. Christopher Sell and I were told to call in another being to help us with our work at the Summer Solstice. We expected a human being, but the surprise was that it was a crystal skull! The first one to appear in my life, Mahasamatman joined us in our work, or rather we joined him in our mission! Mahasamatman communicated clearly that he was here to stay in Scotland to help with opening up the Sacred Sites of Scotland, or “Awakening the Sleeping Giant” as he called it. That was a time with lots of surprises.

The Sacred Garden became a project for anchoring The Divine Spark of Creation, a book I wrote with adventures from Scotland and Brazil and channellings from Light Beings.  Writing the book was one aspect of this project; grounding it into the Earth, literally, by digging and moving earth, stones and water, was another!

Over the years we added a stone circle, made from stones which came from an ancient stone circle a few fields away. I was out looking for stones for around the pond area when I found many large stones cleared from the fields. The stones told me they didn’t want to go back to their original places in the field, it had been a long time since they were cleared and dumped at the side of the road. They wanted to come and share with people again, as they used to; so they requested being part of the sacred garden project. The local farmer who owned the land and local builder helped us move the stones; making jokes about Rhynie Stonehenge at the same time! I was given the guidance to dig a meditational area deep in the Earth in the centre of the stone circle which we called our “kiva”. Most often I am given guidance in visions, either when I am out in the garden or in meditation. The visions never leave me until I do something about them. Over the years we have had many helpers, in human form and other forms, so the Sacred Garden feels like a real community project.

Gordon Burdall, who joined the Sacred Garden project in 1998, is our master stone mover and garden temple builder! He has an engineering background, and a very good understanding of the laws of physics. So combined with his strong dowsing abilities and the feeling sense of his creative work, he has taken on helping me with the creation of the Lemurian beach with dolphin fountains, Pan’s corner, waterfall, dwell and the placing of many standing stones from a beautiful sandstone seam found at the coast near Findhorn.

We have planted many trees and flowers.  In 2003 Gordon created a waterfall which the devic realm asked for, outside the portal to their world in a 350 year old ash tree. They used to come and go to their world, from the holly tree at the bottom of the garden, until a few years previously.

When I began to receive communications from the Earth guardians, they made it clear to me that this site had always been one of their ancient sacred sites. I am talking about all kinds of ethereal spirits that traditionally are earth guardians; we know them as fairies, elves, devas, nature spirits, gnomes, trolls, pixies and the like. The work we are doing as a team, human and fairy, was and is their wish to restore this land temple to a resonance of beauty. It is full of pathways into places for humans to share in meditation and reflection and be initiated into the world of the fairies and devas.

Gordon hand dug the waterfall’s pond and puddled the bottom with clay, so it is all made with natural materials. Apart from creating beauty, the purpose of the waterfall is to imbue the water with the spiritual energy of the Sacred Garden. The water is a gift to humans to help attune them to the devic spirits.

When we held workshops here, weather permitting, the kiva was often used for meditations. During our lunch and tea breaks, then as is now, participants were and are free to enjoy the wonderful energies of the Sacred Garden. It is continually in creation, as all gardens. It is a joy to be in, and to work in; assisting everyone in their personal processes of self attunement. Volunteers come to help in the Garden and enjoy tremendously the interaction with the devic realm. There is a great feeling of wellbeing and nurturing that the garden gives in return for love and care.

The garden is a meeting place for all realms, grounding in the higher cosmic energies through the stone circle and its main resonating crystal. The first central temple crystal was a 46 kilo elestial sceptre quartz, a living library crystal with information from the Pleiades.

Now our Geodesic dome and hobbit house are completed, creating a physical temple space in the garden, this lovely crystal has gone to France to be the central crystal in another Lemurian temple garden project. We have the pleasure of a Madagascan Earth Keeper crystal in the centre of the stone circle, or centre or our altar in the temple now.

The stone circle is in the inner temple garden, since we had to find a solution to covering the dome. The beautiful stones are our natural outside anchors for all the healing we create inside the temple. We hold celebrations every equinox and solstice with meditation and sound healing journeys, as well as courses and workshops. There are many stone circles, perhaps around one hundred, in the North East of Scotland. It is a great delight to roam the countryside visiting some of these during our Summer Solstice celebrations and in Levels 3 and 4 of Crystal Keys.

The Sacred Garden is dedicated to working with the Universal energy of Love and to create Peace; and also to bring the Lemurian vibration of Wholeness. All of nature so beautifully self creates in harmony with all the crystals in our Beloved Earth, conducting a symphony of colour and sound. Over the years many more crystals have come to the Sacred Garden as Earth keepers, Earth healers and temple crystals. Of course all the crystals in nature connect with the crystals in the house, including the team of Earth Healing spheres in the crystal room and extensive crystal skull family (who reside everywhere).

I believe that being an Earth Guardian is a role that anyone can commit to, if they care about the planet they live on; and want to be part of the Earth changes and awakening of spiritual awareness which is happening now. It is easy to dedicate your own patch of land to being sacred, no matter how big or how small.

It could be time for us now to acknowledge that we are all sacred beings, and that our homes can be inner temples to nurture our souls. We can then realize the gift of Life itself, and the power we have in each of us to be responsible for creating beauty in nature by manifesting our Love and care. What we give is always given back to us. What a wonderful way to live our lives!

So below are photos from 2013…

There are some changes, enjoy!

October 2013

We’ve done a lot of landscaping this year, since finally the Lemurian Temple (Solardome and Hobbit House is complete)

This is the new area with pathways to walk towards the Hobbit House, and where you can take a pathway to walk up onto the Hobbit House roof garden.

All the pathways are on energy lines and created with quartzite from a local quarry near Keith.

Pan’s Corner

This is the current crystal guardian of Pan’s Corner, 2009, a beautiful Quartz Elestial point with epidote crystals growing on it (that’s the green).

This wonderful smokey quartz point lived for a time in the fairy circle after Pan’s Corner.

It is now working on the energy lines coming into the site from the North at the other side of the house.

It may be looking for a guardian…

  Mary Ma

Mary Ma was the name given by Gordon Burdall, who helped me create this garden, from 1999 – 2003. Mary Ma now lives with Gordon on his wonderfully energetic site at Findhorn.

The creation of the stone circle in 1997

Over the years we added a stone circle, made from stones which came from an ancient stone circle a few fields away.  The stones told me they didn’t want to go back to their original places in the field, as they had been cleared in days gone by and dumped at the side of the road. They wanted to come and share with people again, as they used to, so they opted for joining our garden project. The local farmer and builder helped us move them, making jokes about Rhynie Stonehenge! I was given the guidance to dig a meditational area deep in the Earth in the centre of the stone circle and this is our kiva. Most often I am given guidance in visions, either when I am out in the garden or in meditation. The visions never leave me until I do something about them! Over the years we have had many helpers, in human form and other being form, so it feels like a real community project.

Spring 2009, preparing the space for the Solardome

From the Fairy Circle, looking back towards the house

In July 2009 we are preparing for the building of a Solar Dome, the stone circle will be replaced around the edge of the Dome. We had a fire of purification for the site, this was the building of the bonfire by Maurice, after trimming the conifer hedge.

January 2012

I have created a new page to show the photo story of the Solar Dome. I thought we would be finished in 2010, but then I haven’t been involved in a building project before and this one has its own life! We are now happily in the final stages of the build – hoorah! could be finished this year…

Love and Peace, Kathleen

And now… 2013

The Stone Circle is embraced within the temple; outside the geodesic dome but underneath a cover which we had to put for practical reasons, so the stones can be seen and enjoyed from inside (one is built into a wall).
